We appreciate the need to demonstrate the safety of a project that involves handling large volumes of natural gas which is also an inherent requirement of the Control of Major Accident Hazard (COMAH) Regulations. We will, therefore, undertake a comprehensive assessment of the safety aspects relevant to the whole project and submit a Safety Report as required by the COMAH Regulations.
Our Safety Report will show that the project will be safely design, constructed, operated and maintained and that it will comply with the rigorous requirements of the Health and Safety Executive and Environment Agency.
